Description
Summary:Latin America is experiencing a dynamic time, full of uncertainties in social, political and economic terms. If, on the one hand, processes linked to the regeneration of political projects located on the right-wing spectrum can be identified, on the other hand, broad social mobilizations and economic difficulties that derive from an accumulation model in crisis, predict conflictive times and a dispute of society projects. These struggles also have facets that are related to the production of ideas and knowledge, the old and new agents involved in that work such as intellectuals and think tanks, the restrictions and conditioning of democracies that can arise from there or, alternatively, the openness of new horizons of social possibilities that, in the same way, can be built and emerge. Precisely this book is located in the attempt to address some of the many questions that arise in those tensions that are not always visible in the struggles of ideas, representations of society, imaginaries and perspectives, that Latin America has in the urgent need to rethink itself towards the future and recreate more democratic and emancipatory solutions
