| Summary: | In this sixth volume of the collection Revisitando o Território Fluminense, with the first title published fourteen years ago and organized at the Núcleo de Geografia Fluminense (NEGEF) of the Instituto de Geografia - UERJ, PhD researchers from various institutions and professionals who have recently completed research at the of masters and doctorate. With varied themes (real estate taxation, environmental fragility, sustainability, family farming, etc.), all the researches find a common denominator: they have the state of Rio de Janeiro as their spatial cut. The territory of Rio de Janeiro encompasses a range of singularities and particularities, which are interrelated with contemporary events on a national and global scale.
