Description
Summary:CADTH, in collaboration with Health Quality Ontario (HQO), is undertaking an Optimal Use project on the use of iCBT in patients with mild and moderate major depressive disorder (MDD) and anxiety disorders. Collaboratively, both organizations will explore relevant clinical, economic, social, and ethical evidence to inform the policy question. Analyses of the evidence will be presented in separate chapters, each with specific and different research questions and methodologies. HQO will develop a systematic review to assess the clinical effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of iCBT, as well as an economic analysis, and will undertake direct patient engagement to explore patient preferences and values. CADTH will develop reviews and analyses to assess patient perspectives and experiences, and ethical and implementation issues related to iCBT. This document outlines the research questions and methods to be used by CADTH.
