Description
Summary:Over the past few years China has emerged as a major player in the global economy with a pivotal position in global production, trade and, increasingly, finance. Moreover, China, along with other Asian economies, has been accumulating reserves, thereby supporting the present configuration of exchange rates in major OECD regions.
