Description
Summary:Our aim was quite clear when we agreed to write this book, and this was to cover in a single text, at the correct level, the syllabus for the Joint Board of Clinical Nursing Studies Course 900. The second edition has undertaken to produce further information to cover the present extended ENB 901 course. Inevitably, having commenced on the task it quickly became obvious that this could develop into a life's work! The breadth and depth of the subject and its interrelating information are offered for the use of the family planning nurse and health professional, both trained and in training, with the hope that their basic needs will be met and their interest aroused for further reading. The chapter on special needs fills, we trust, a neglected area in family planning training; and the problems which may be encountered with people from other countries is introductory information which is not easily available in this subject
