Fleet), Oct. 7, 1765: "The second edition of Ames's almanack for 1766, will be published this week.--The courts that are wrong in the Scotch [i.e., McAlpine and Fleeming's] edition will be corrected. Sold by the printers and booksellers in Boston." Advertised in the Massachusetts gazette and Boston news-letter (R. & S. Draper), Oct. 10: "Dr. Nathaniel Ames's almanack ..
