Mr. John Dickson's warning to the professors of the Gospel in the shire of Fife. Against complyance with the indulgence Written by him, at the desire, and with the consent and approbation of some considerable number of the then-suffering-witnesses of Christ. Wherein he reminds them of the great success of the Gospel, in the former field-meetings; sets before them their sad decay under the false liberty of indulgence; warns them of the hazard of continuing to joyn in that course; and danger of taking perjurious oaths; and of paying cess for strengthning the hands of persecuters: vindicates the suffering remnant from the charge of seperation, and despising presbyterian government; displays the tyranny of some meetings of indulged ministers, and exhorts the people to repentance, and relinquishing these courses. And predicts dreadful judgement coming on the land. Very necessary, and seasonable for these times. Published from a true manuscript
