How her eldest Child, a Son of Fifteed Years of Age, look upon him to maintain his Mother and four Sisters by Hard Labour, the which he did for a small time, shewing how this Woman was deprived of her Son by Death, for loss of whom she was forced to sell her Goods by degrees, and last of all her bed, to keep her self and Children from starving. Her Petition to the Queen, who seeing her poor and miserable Condition, gave her Twenty pieces of gold and allowed her twenty pounds a Year for her lifetime
