By E. Donovan, F. L. S. Author of the Natural Histories of British Birds, Insects, &c. &c. London: Printed for the Author, and for F. and C. Rivington, No. 62, St. Paul's Church-Yard. Conditions: I. This Work shall be elegantly printed in Octavo, on a fine Wove Royal Paper, and Hot-Pressed. II. Three Plates shall be given in each Number, with Descriptions: they will be printed on Whatman's Drawing Paper, and correctly finished in Colours from perfect Specimens of the Shells - Price 2s. 6d. each Number. III. This Work shall be completed in Sixty Monthly Numbers. An Index for the systematic Arrangement will be given at the End of each Volume, containing Twelve Numbers
