Plymouth volunteers It having been recommended by the Sub-Committee of the Subscribers, for the general Defence of the County, at a Meeting held this Day, in the Council-Chamber of the Guildhall. "that there should be but One Volunteer Corps for this Town, consisting of Two Companies of Sixty Men each, besides Officers, on a Plan as nearly similar as possible to that formed by the Exeter Volunteer Company." Those Gentlemen, Tradesmen and others, who have already subscribed their Names for forming Volunteer-Companies, are desired to meet at the Guildhall, To-Morrow, at Six O'Clock, in the Evening, to consider and determine on the above Recommendation, and Plan to be adopted
