Oxford, August 30, 1800. A requisition having been made to me to convene a meeting of the inhabitants of this city, to consider the propriety of a survey of the rateable property within the united parishes, with a view to the making of the poor's rates more equal and fair, I do therefore appoint Monday the 8th day of September next for such meeting
