The new Testament, of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Formed into a regular history of our Saviour From his Birth to his Ascension into Heaven. Wherein the Occurrences in the Words of the Evan. gelists, are disposed in the just Series and Order of Time on which they happened. The Chapters are divided into proper Sections, with a distinct Title to each, for the Ease and Improvement of young Minds; a Method, 'tis presumed, that will be found of most important Use also to grown Persons, and might engage even the Attention of the Learned, as the Memory, thus assisted, will more readily retain what is so very essential to make us wise unto Salvation. To which is prefixed, an Introduction, giving a Description of our Saviour's Person and Manner; and a concise Account of the four Evangelists, the Writers of his History. Embellished with some few cuts of the most striking and remarkable Events, the better to engage the Attention of young Readers
