The acceptable sacrifice being a full collection of scripture-devotions; taking in the whole book of Psalms, throughout all the parts of it. Every Verse of that Book being severally drawn up, and placed under the distinct and proper Head of Devotion to which it belongs: Together with other the most Devotional Portions of the Old and New Testament, digested after the same manner, and adapted to the Uses of Christian Piety. In two parts. With above four hundred prayers, thanksgivings, and meditations, newly compos'd, suited and subjoin'd to the Matter contain'd under each Head and Title respectively.
