Edmund Marshall

Edmund Ian Marshall (31 May 1940 – 5 October 2023) was a British politician and churchman. After beginning his career as a Liberal councillor in Wallasey in the 1960s, he joined the Labour Party and was elected Member of Parliament for Goole at a 1971 by-election. He held the seat until 1983. He later joined the Social Democratic Party (SDP), which merged with the Liberals in 1988 to become the Liberal Democrats. Provided by Wikipedia
