Hans Hanke

Johannes Reinhold Hanke (13 March 1912 – 13 August 1981) was an ''SS-Obersturmbannführer'' (lieutenant colonel) in the Waffen SS during World War II. He possibly received the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (''Ritterkreuz''), the highest award in the military and paramilitary forces of Nazi Germany during World War II. Provided by Wikipedia
