Sabeeha Merchant

Sabeeha Sabanali Merchant (born 1959) is a professor of plant biology at the University of California, Berkeley. She studies the photosynthetic metabolism and metalloenzymes In 2010 Merchant led the team that sequenced the ''Chlamydomonas'' genome.
