A catalogue of valuable books, in divers facculties and languages, which will be exposed to sale by way of auction four successive days, at Joseph Drew's bookseller, just below Gandy's Lane, in the Highstreet, Exon. To begin on Monday the first of November, 1742, at nine o'clock in the morning, and at three in the afternoon, and so to continue for the three following days. The number of, and what books will be sold each day the catalogue doth specify. Heretosore gentlemen have been wearied in giving attendance day after day, in expectation of having the book or books inclined to put up: therefore, to prevent the like inconveniency, the auctioneer hath proposed the above method, by which, gentlemen may judge to half an hour, the time of each book being sold. Likewise, he presumes, that no country gentleman's friend in town would refuse executing a commission, while there will not be that lost of time usually complain'd of.
