Summary:The CADTH Canadian Drug Expert Committee (CDEC) recommends that preservative-free latanoprost 50 μg/mL ophthalmic solution (Monoprost) be reimbursed for the reduction of intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, if the following condition is met: The drug plan cost of treatment with Monoprost should not exceed the drug plan cost of treatment with the least costly prostaglandin analogue (PGA)
