Item Description:"Update 2016.". - "In 2006 the National Collaborating Centre for Chronic Conditions published guidance on the clinical diagnosis and management of tuberculosis (TB), and measures for its prevention and control. The section on the diagnosis of latent TB was updated (CG117) by the Short Clinical Guidelines team within NICE in 2011. Sections highlighted in pink have been updated by the Internal Clinical Guideline team within NICE in 2016. In 2012, the Centre for Public Health team within NICE published public health guidance on "Identifying and managing tuberculosis among hard-to-reach groups" (PH37), which has been incorporated into NG33.
