As the Lives of the English Poets, and others, celebrated for their Learning and Genius, can no where be introduced with more Propriety than in a Dictionary of the English Language, we have enriched our Performance with the most entertaining and authentic Memoirs of those Illustrious Men who have flourished in these Kingdoms.
